Several members of Yacht Club Luxembourg have recently been honoured by their respective communes as “Sportifs Méritants” following their performances during the 2025 Luxembourg Sailing Championship season.

The athletes recognised are:

• Tim Felber
• Nicolas Wolff-Fiume
• Elisa Grégoire
• Evguenia Jeitz
• Claude Schuman

These awards are an opportunity for local communities to acknowledge the commitment and dedication of athletes who represent their communes and contribute to sporting life in Luxembourg.

Yacht Club Luxembourg would like to thank the communes for their continued support of sport and sailing, and warmly congratulate all award recipients.

Such recognition is also a reminder that sporting achievements are made possible through the support of families, volunteers, coaches, club members and local communities.
